Everyone participating at Asheville has to bring this signed to me. It allows the athletic trainers at the event to evaluate/treat if needed. I will hand paper copies out today at practice.

a wrestler must have this exact form filled out by a healthcare professional NP,PA,MD,DO etc. in order for a referee to let them participate if they have a visible place on their skin at weighins before each event.

Parents the camo shirts you ordered should be done in two weeks. You can pay for them when you pick them up. I asked for a teamshop so parents could order sweatshirts like the kids if they wanted one and they put all kinds of stuff on here. the grey crewneck with black maryville wrestling font is what the kids are getting. the shop closes Nov 24. The wrestling team doesn’t make anything from the sale of these items. only the company selling them does.

I updated the schedule and put an E by events all wrestlers boys and girls should wrestle at. Thre of these dates Dec 9, Dec 16, Jan 6 will have limited girls matches because those teams don’t have many. I will email the coaches the week before to see what they have. We will bring girls to wrestle theirs. The rest of our girls can come along to warmup/practice/watch or they can have that evening off.

here is a link parents can use to book a room at the same place wrestlers are staying at the Asheville tournament. varsity boys and girls wrestle Friday starting at 5pm and Saturday. JV boys wrestle Saturday only. parents don’t have to come or stay with us. we have a bus and then rooms reserved for the wrestlers.
